My jumping trainer uses this. She puts it on top of the saddle pad.
Any opinions are welcome :]

To the 2nd answer....It is not a raiser...it is a flat pad with some cushion

l agree with your trainer, l use one also.

l only use those if the saddle does not fit the horse properly or if there is an inexperienced rider that could bang hard on their back.
