l ride like l do without my period. both pads and tampons are fine. actually, l find that if you wear a pad when you ride, it adds more of a cushion when you post and canter. it helps to prevent rubbing. haha.

yeah you should use a pad. but try using a step above what you usually where. for example instead of light try regular. or instead of regular wear heavy.

You could try riding in pads with ''wings'' They work like wonder.
Get like, heavy, though your period is lighter when you exersise!
:]
Good luck!

Same as always, with a pad. Just do not canter quite as much.

l prefer tampons to pads simply because who wants to risk the leaking of a pad while ur on ur horse.plus because of the movements in riding, l find that my flow is usually heavier, so pads r just gross to ride with.plus on hot summer show days, who wants to wallow in period guck?? its just not nice.also pads can tent & shift while u ride--not a good thing--
tampons keep everything clean & u cant even feel them--no matter how many times u post, shift or get on/off ur horse.they stay in one spot.no questions need by asked..
l ride with a tampon & a panty liner (for back-up!)
if u have cramps, those heating patches can be ur hero, just put one on ur lower back & u can keep it on while u ride! l find riding usually helps cramps--something to do with the movement of ur horse.
Dont u love being a girl?? BB

Actually, l find it absolutely disgusting to ride in a pad, especially on heavy days (you keep mashing down on the blood, etc.). Gross. l usually end up with a tampon if the flow is not light enough to go without a pad for a couple of hours. A few of my friends find that a pad makes them lean back too much, too.

Riding with your period makes no difference whatsoever. Tampons are easier. You wo not even think about it when you're riding.

l ride like l did not have my period. l use a tampon AND pads. Yeah, it feels a little weird, but it nots too bad.

Away with the diaper you must normally wear and bring on the tampons and pads.
Tips: -Overnight or extra long give you more coverage if you're riding on a heavy day. -Double up! Tampon (lowest absorbency to avoid Toxic Shock Syndrome) and an ultra thin pad (long for heavy days, normal if showing to avoid all the lumps in breeches)

You just ride the same as u would without it. Try using an overnight pad with wings as it is more likely to catch everything while you're moving about. Usually, u can not even see it with jodhpurs on. l do not recommend using tampons as they can move when you're riding & be lodged in the wrong position becoming quite uncomfortable.
Also, try wearing a pair of undies that is a bit tight (not uncomfortable but they wo not move) as u will feel more comfortable & secure. Just what l do but l hope it helps & good luck. (:

It is like doing any other activity during that time. l always wear a liner and a tampon because l am normally at the barn for three to four hours and there is not a bathroom, so just in case, you know. :D

l suggest not riding in tapons, that hurts. But with pads it does not matter. It feels pretty much the same. It may feel a bit different, but not to much. Good Luck!

Well when Im on my period l always wear a pad cause it more comfortable for me and it actually helps you from being rubbed raw (if you know what l mean) and honestly l hate wearing tampons they agervate me!! If Im going on a really long ride l will always wear a tampon and pad both but l also take some toilet paper and a exter pad with me in cause that l need to change. Thats just me!! It aint any different from riding when your not on your period Hope this helps
