The outfit looks nice, the only thing l see that would concern me, is the thickness of the leather. l would worry it will curl. l have seen a few other saddles that the leather is thicker. l will get the # & be right back. From the look of it, l would say this is not a well made, quality saddle. Really good saddles will be identified by brand- think circle y, textan, tucker, billy cook and many many others. If you are a a back yard horse owner that trail rides on the occasional weekend, then this saddle is probably going to last you a long time. If you want to show and really, really use the saddle, then go for a used saddle that is a good brand.

l would use that $300.00 and find a good quality USED western saddle on ebay. You did not tell us what type of horse you have because a FULL QH tree is a very wide tree, made for bull dog type QHs.

For me the price is a huge red flag. Unless you want a short-term pretty saddle that may not hold up over time, l would avoid anything this ''reasonable''. I've paid more than that (about double) for a synthetic saddle with no accessories. Something is missing in the quality department..it just has to be.

I'd bet the price it is not American made. Go with Rosi. A good American brand, used, is a better buy.
