l am looking at the synthetic saddles. l want a saddle that is lightweight. Something that is easy to clean but will also hold up under use.
What is everyone is opinions on these brands?

l personally like the big horn saddles better. l had a Fabtron and it did not hold up as well as my big horn did. l had my big horn saddle for 5 years and my Fabtron for 7months and they did not even compare. l find the big horn is lighter weight. When in comes to cleaning they both clean up about the same.

l can not comment on Fabtron, but my Big Horn synthetic saddle is of good quality, lightweight, comfortable to me and my horse, and is easy to care for. It was also reasonably priced.

Bighorns are nice. Have you looked into Wintec. They are very lightweight and nice looking, very reasonable on cost. Some look like leather but you wash em with a wet rag. They are great to just toss on your horse and go, and seem to have more ''substance'' for holding their shape than fabtron. Fabtron will stain, too, because it is cloth.
