Hello,
l am probably going to buy this colt.
He placed 8th in the iowa futurity.
He is very calm for being only nine months. You can pet and hold on
to his ears and mess with him. He is also a sweetheart, he follows you around like a big puppy! l am going to do halter with him and when older, western pleasure. l just thought i'd share him cause l am really excited about him.

He is adorable!!!!! I'd call him Diablo or Cobalt or Chocolate or something like that. l hope you get him! l am sure you will take good care of him :]

l love him but l would highly suggest a vet check and insurance both fatality and injury because young horses have a tendency to get into trouble and some AQHA r actually bred with low heels which can lead to navicular because people recognized judges wer likeing the small feet
and especialy since you r buying him as a prospect you want to make sure you can actually use him
he looks like a great horse and like he will go far how bout Stochard, commanche, or travis

l dont know much about AQHA other than l own one but have never been into halter etc. for being 9 months old though (i have a 20 month old ''yearling'') he seems far too muscular to me. l mean unless he is on steroids or being worked heavily l dont know how he is so built!!
mine is 2 & is muscular overall but nothing like that horse!
maybe it is just me, l dont know much about the way AQHA halter horses r to look but to me he is far too big to be that young.

also, im glad to hear he is sweet. l have had mine since he was 6months old & he plays ''fetch'' with his jolly ball, lets me lay with him in the stall, he lunges & can be fully tacked (minus the bit) & l can sit/lay on him bareback & l can also sit on him in a saddle!!
he is a sweetheart & has been really easy going, l love him to bits. good luck with this guy if u get him but if u (or someone) can explain to me how those horses get so big at such a young age l would love to know. because w/o testosterone l cant see how he can NATURALLY build that much muscle w/o steroid or HEAVY work. & both of those can be devestating to any career he may have,


also, no one take offence to this, l am just curious. l mean no harm by it.just dont know much about the sport/overall breed.

for the name.what is his sires/dams names etc?
my AQHA is a buckskin QH o/o zips chocolate chip & his name is zips golden opportunity.
