l know she is a little overweight... I am working on that.
Thanks for your replies everyone : ]

A couple things.... the eyes themselves do not burn. Horses with blue eyes are more susceptible to sunburn because they usually have pink skin around them. But she doesn't.

And the wood chewing... that is really just part of her personality. She is always acted like a baby. She is mouthy and chews on and licks everything. She gets ridden and turned out every day, and has a toy and a salt block in her stall.
HPTSEQ.... She is not tied with a bit in her mouth. l simply put her reins over the top of a fence post to take a picture while we were out on the trail. l would not have done it if l did not trust her completely. She is not stupid and has never sat back.
The pictures were all taken in Tampa, Bradenton, and Plant City : ]

Overall l think she is pretty nice. Long neck, pretty decent topline but maybe a little long in comparison to length of leg, & a good shoulder for a fox trotter. l think her hip is maybe a little small in comparison to the front of her body, but not horrible. She needs to tone up a little bit too.

l think at open shows u will do well with her if u add some muscle, & for the Fox Trotter shows, she will do well if her motion matches how cute she is. l think she just has some maturing to do, & needs some tone, but nothing jumped out at me as a big fault on her. Good luck, & u have some VERY nice photos on there.

Wow. She is a true beauty. The only faults l could really see were her blue eyes, though they're absolutely beautiful, that makes her more prone to blindness because they can easily sunburn, and she also seemed to be kneed in a bit, but that could have been the pic. She looks like a very fun mare in that collage. Lucky!!

AWESOME photos. l wish l could use my camera like that. l agree with one of the other , just a bit more muscle would not hurt. She is GORGEOUS, l love her face, l did not like the picture of her chewing on the wood post or whatever it was, Lightpole? That usually means, boredom or maybe lack of minerals. A little more hay would not hurt, it would keep her more occupied, the toys will too. l always leave a few mineral blocks laying in a bucket in the pasture & l always have one in my horses' stall. He likes them & it is just like vitamins for a little kid. Lol. l think you'd be PERFECT in the halter shows, good luck! My horse Max is always crazy in halter, he always flips his hair around, & plays & bucks while we're trotting. Lol!

Shes a cutie! l like her very much
First off she is not fat, she is at the right weight just may need some fitting up for halter.

My forte' is AQHA, Arabians, NSH Saddlebreds but from what l can tell she has quality written all over her & feel she will do well in halter classes

Do not let her lose any weight, u want her taught but fit.her condition looks good.

Not impressed with the fact that u have her tied with a bit in her mouth! big no no..

if u want to succeed in halter get a experienced MFT showman & halter trainer, best way to go.

Hey there. MFT is r my forte.

If u want to show yourself then they have just changed the rules this year for showing. This year to show in the amateur u must own or part own the horse. This bumped certain other individuals up to the open class & u will have less competition. Still to succeed with MFT is u need a big name to truly be successful. That is the downfall of the breed -- judges who play favorites & trade favors.

You will need to tone her up but she looks like she could show well in halter.

If interested let me know & l can give u the names of the top halter trainers around here ( l live less than an hour from the MFTHBA headquarters & showgrounds at Ava).

If u want to look at my website here it is. You will see other MFT is there.

If u r in FL then u r too far away to get a halter trainer here unless one wants to come here to show. Her fox trot is good too so she would make a fair performance horse.
