It is perfectly normal for you to be upset about your horse leaving. l know, trust me. Its sad to say but i've had two of these experiences. l loved both horses equally as much.

It is perfectly fine! You obviously have a connection to this horse. Why are you selling it?

It is not weird at all. When we have something that is emotionally traumatic such as what u stated it would be unusual & even harmful not to cry. Anything though going to extremes can be harmful such as grieving over a loved one is death over a long period of time can be very harmful. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. To mourn is ok, but there is a time to get over it also.If anything happened to our dog, both my wife & l would probably cry like crazy because he is like part of the family.Go ahead & cry,get it out of ur system & go on with ur life.

Try and visit him when you can. He will love you more for it!

Not weird at all. l even cry (very secretly) when horses l really like that l do not even own are shipped out. l always worry about their future care.

that is totally okay! l cry when someone mentions that l might have to put down my pony! (She is in her late twentys, and I've had her for almost six years. but she is had some REALLY bad winters, and been boarded at some REALLY bad places.) Anyway, l think it is normal to be upset that you wo not have your horse anymore.

i cried when l found out we had to sell my old horse
its a sad time when you have to sell a horse that you were close too
but everything will be okay

It is fine! l sometimes imagine what would happen if l had to sell my horse, and l almost start crying! They become so apart of our daily life that loosing them is like loosing a person- or worse. l was so confused that when l was sold my horse, his previous owner didnt even say goodbye to him! l am so sorry.

No it is definitely NOT weird! My old horse was sold last April due to her having heaves pretty bad and l wanted to get into showing so l sold her and got a new horse. l was really sad to see her go. But l talked to her new owners a while ago and shes put on more pounds(she got skinnier when we were there, the stable was not well.the best). But now l am happy with my current horse. Though l do get sad at times when l think of my old one.

Sure it is OK. Would not you cry if you found out your best friend was moving out of town?
