Juno is obviously the breed known as the Cold Regions Fuzzball. This breed is characterized by extreme hardiness & cheerful disposition. The people who live in the Cold Regions use the fur molted by this breed in the spring to augment their wardrobes, furniture, cars, homes, & anywhere else they go after grooming the Fuzzball.

Honda is definitely a Short-coated Golden Ribbonwinner. Short-coats r noted for the velvet texture of their fur & the spunky up-do of their manes. When presented in front of groups of people, they inspire a call similiar to ''Aw..howcuteheis!'' & smiles.

Rio is either a Speckled Pridesource or a Fluffytack Wearer, can not decide which. The Speckled Pridesource, which can be found in both Western & English barns, is usually accompanied by a tribal member puffed with pleasure at the cries of delight & surprise that the Pridesource is appearance inspires. The Fluffytack Wearer usually sports more than the single fluffytack accessory this horse is sporting-- generally there is also a fluffytack girth cover, pad, & sometimes a shadow-roll as well.

Charlie looks to me like a Trainingwheel Sporthorse. This small equine is noted for the short distance from his back to the ground, which makes the inevitable falls from him more bearable; his attitude, as evidenced by this horse, is one of forbearance & studied patience while his small riders learn the rituals necessary to graduate to Fullsized Sporthorse.

Fax is undoubtedly a Cross-country Funhorse. This horse is bright & alert & appreciates the opportunity to exchange endless hours of ringwork for the varied pleasures of working out in the open on tracks & trails.

Razcal is a Part-Arab Spellingcute. The Full-Arab Spellingcutes r noted for extreme attrocious spellings of common words in their names to call attention to their pedigree. They come with names like Easter Baskette or Khantina or some such. They r characterized by refinement of the head & neck & the prideful bearing of their riders.

Cassie is a Patient Allweather. These horses r unphased by wet, cold, heat, wind or dust; they can be found at the end of leadshanks & reins of small Earnestlearners, sometimes in the hands of Adult Latestarters.

Sandman is a Manyhours Tokeepclean, no doubt about it. My horse was a member of this breed. The silvery-white sheen of their coats is deceptive; their natural color is mottled muddy green/brown splotches on a dull white to ivory background, usually with yellow to brown tails. The unnatural appearance of this breed results from the ceaseless labors of the owner/attendant, who spends hours cleaning & grooming & bathing the Manyhours, muttering the entire time that their next horse is going to be a dark-coated horse, dammit.

Turner is another Manyhours Tokeepclean, but is of the Tokeepcleanandbraid variation.

Nate is a Loved Dreamhorse. This breed comes in many sizes, shapes & colors, & can be distinguished not by any features of his body, but rather by the attitude he inspires in his chosen attendant/owner. This horse is characterized by never being short of carrots or treats, by the sometimes goopy tone of voice his attendant/owner uses to speak to him, & by the expression of satisfied contentment evinced when his attendant/owner adopts an attitude of worshipful affection towards him.

Ok l am just guessing on a few of these, so l am likely to be WAY off. But here is my guesses

1- Mustang or QH, possibly a cross
2- Fjord, no doubt about it
3- Appy, leapord spot
4- Obviously a pony, possibly a paint or pinto mix
5- Thoroughbred
6- APHA, maybe a cross with the long, snaky neck
7- QH, looks like an appendix
8- Arabian. possibly a cross
9- Anglo Arab or Thoroughbred
10- APHA & a very, very nice looking one at that!

again, just guessing on a few of them so l am probably way off lol.

Most were unrecognizable to me without a French ''Steak House'' menu. Being a fan & owner of neck reining QH cutters. Give the buckskin a dark dye job & he would pass as a Morgan. Most seem a little weak in the hind end to get off the ground. Never liked breeds based on color or country of origin but that is just me. Enjoy, any horse is better than none. l too gave them up with the exception of cutters until l reached the age of reason at age twelve & bought a moto-crosser. RScott
