My friends and l are doing drill team with our horses and we will be showing at our county fair. We will be riding english. We can not decide on a good song to use for drill team. It has to be appropriate and we do not want it to be too ''countryish.'' We will have to be able to walk, trot and canter to the song.

So if you could list some song ideas or songs that you think would work, that would be great! Thanks!

surprisingly enough, they have many upbeat classy songs you may choose from. Plus, what english riders want a COUNTRY song?? haha just kidding, l ride so l definately would not choose a country song!

l think 1 2 Step is GREAT for that! classy, but upbeat, and LOTS of fun to move to!
Or you could try some kind of techno-ish song. l know it sounds strange.but those go GREAT with riding!
Anything with a good beat really.
Celine Dion would also be really good.

there are a lot of good songs out there ,but if you are going to do a drill team in english you need a good mix of Contemporary and classic so l would try listening to some fast fusion,techno,drum and bass mixes.here are some so you can get an idea.

Hey l ride for a champion drill team & our rule is never do music with lyrics!!! try to get the songs edited so that they don''t have words otherwise u guys will try to time the drill to the song & thats not a smart idea.Or u will pay more attention to the song & trust me that ends in collisions. This year we rode to a remix of Toxic by Britney Spears, Faint by Linkin Park & some loud rocker music. Also we ride western & its not like we r riding to a bunch of po-dunk redneck songs. lol hope this helps
