I'd go with something military, as most of the older type horses were initially military horses. Sergent Pepper, or Private Benjamin would be fun names.

- As for old fashion names go for William (Billy) or Andrew (Andy) for a boy or Elizabeth (Lizzi) or Victoria (Vicky) for a girl. l am not really good at old fashioned names lol.

l use street names for my horses show names as they are simple and always very classic. For old fashioned horses l use sort of names from old parts of cities and thinhgs that sound good and classic to suit the horse.
