idk wut 7stone is but by your height these are my suggestions: i'd say a 15-16 hand horse but depending on your age if your still growing i'd go for a 16 hand horse here are some breed suggestions: Quarter horse (cant go wrong with a quater horse) do somke googleing and see what you can find dreamhorse and other sites like that can help just put in the height and search!

well what is 7 stones converted into pounds.. (lol im not good at math) depending on ur build thats kinda what u need to go for as far as breed. like TB is tend to be narrow & not weight bearing horses. unlike QH is that could cary any man with ease. here is another suggestion a horse can only carry 10% or 12% its own IDEAL body weight. & as far as height l would suggest something like 15.2-17hh what ever u feel comfortable on is the main thing to go buy but dont fall for the first horse u try..

well l looked up stone, so ur weight is 98 pound right? You should get a horse or large pony. You do not weigh much at all. Maybe something between a 14 & 15 hand horse, maybe a 16 hand, but considering ur size it would have to be a very calm, well mannered horse as u would not be able to control it as easily if it decided to act up. Depending on ur riding cababilities, if u r a novice rider... Consider these breeds: Quarter horse Appaloosa Welsh Pony Connemara Pony Tennessee Walker Horse Morgan Horse some sort of small draft cross But if u r experienced in riding (have had years of lessons) then u may consider all breeds above & then include thoroughbreds thoroughbred cross arabian arabian cross

l would think nothing smaller than a 14.2. And probably a cobby type

it all depends on what you are capable of, have you owned horses before?
If not why not try and get one with a loan with view to but that way you can decide if the horse is right for you before you buy him/her..
Hope that helps.x

How about a Welsh Section D? They can vary from 14 hh to 15 hh ish. They are pretty strong so can take medium loads. hope this helps x also ask a riding instructor or someone who knows A LOT about horses and breeds to come with you. If you find the horse/pony that you like and want ask the owners if you can have the horse on trial for, say, 2 weeks and see how the horse/pony copes with the new lifestyle and routine, also see if you get on well together.

Get something u can grow into. l am the same height but & slightly lighter but not much. My cousin has me break her 13hh ponies plus. l can still ride her little 12hh fat ponies but l am too big really, just not too heavy. l mostly ride what l feel most comfotable with an thats her 19.2hh Clydesdale stallion & some of the mares if they r not in foal. l look tiny on them but OH WELL?! My mum says l look just perfect on her 14.3 MW cob Rollie. l showjump him e.t.c. l would go for something above 14.2hh as u may grow more & then become to big. I'd say 15.2hh would be a grea starter not to big not to small.

Hello, l have a horse, he is a piebald gypsy vanner and is a 14.3. even though l have been riding for nine years, he is my first horse, l used to loan horses. They are easy to handle and are very friendly natured, l would recommend the gypsy vanner
Here is some info on the gypsy vanners

something around 14h to 15.2h but the breed depends on the what kind of riding you want to do with it.

Well l am weigh 6 stone & length wise im something like 4.8 & l ride a 15.00hh horse.
So maybe u should get on from 14.00hh-16.03hh..
It also depends if u want a out-door pony/horse or a stabled horse/pony. If u want a stabled horse/pony then u could go for a ''Fine'' type wich is something like an ''Arab or ''Welsh''...
Just like u just now l am looking for a Horse/Pony..
Good Luck! And just remember ''Horse-Riding is not just a hobby its life''
You have to dedecate ur self to it!
Or if u want an out-door pony/horse u could go for something like a ''Cob or ''Highland'' maybey even ''Fell''.

l had a 15 hand Quarter horse, and l thought he was the perfect size, and im 5'3, so that might be a good size for you. Maybe try a 13/14 hand horse.

All depends on your experience, what you are using the horse for, cost, etc. Do not get a horse that is too much for you to handle, or one you will gro out of in a year. If you are pretty new to riding (3 years of lessons or less) then you could get a 20+ year old lesson horse. If you do not have very much experience, l would reccomend leasing first.

Breed-wise, it totally depends on your riding ability and confidence. But talking about height, I'd say you'd suit a pony/horse between 13.3hh-15.3hh.
As for breeds.
-Confident, experienced rider- Small Thoroughbred, Welsh Cobs, Arabs.any really. -Nervous/ novice rider- Cob type, Welsh pony.
Not to say that all Cobs are placid or all Thoroughbreds are highly-strung, but it is a rough guide.

have over 18months+ riding experience, u can now walk trot canter & jump in a safe, sensible manour? be honest. if so u could get something around 15.2hh+ horse, & anybreed. a good alround that jumps well & have good paces. hacks alone & company. thats good. so u dont get bored with a ploddy horse. get one like that. if you've had less that 12months riding. 1 a week lessons. then l suggest u get a 14.2hh-15hh thats more ploddy & more suitable for a novice. & thats good jumping but a sensible 100% in all ways horse. or maybe u could try loaning or sharing a horse at you're local yard? help on saturdays or something. so u can get used to the ownership & work & responsibility of a horse. get your'self ready & makesure u can afford this animal £200-£250 monthly. or more ! depending on the season. makesure you're patents know of this price. dont tell them its not that much. but if they're not willing to pay for that show them how u r commited to it. & MAKESURE u know how to care! l know so many people who want a horse & r getting them with no experience atall! email me, baybee-sham-oxhotmail.co.uk for any questions or further infornmation. also im only 14 too but ive had 10 years experience :) xx

Despite previous , l would NOT suggest going for a 16 hand horse. Maybe 15 hands or so. l would worry less about the size of ur horse & more about the training & experience u need ur horse to have. If u r an experienced rider & r confident & sure in ur abilities, then a 16 hand horse may be the right type for you. But if u r a beginner & still learning, a 16 hand horse might intimidate u by his sheer size & stature. Bigger is not always better.
As for the breed of ur future mount, that is all on you. If ur horse is going to be high energy & excitable, like my Arab, u will always have to be calming her down, staying relaxed yourself, & controlling ur emotions as to not upset ur horse. If u r very calm & relaxed, a higher-energy horse may be okay. This also loops back to ur riding experience. If u r still a beginner & nervous, u might do much better to get a Quarter Horse, rather than a Thoroughbred or Arabian.
Remember, Arabians r beautiful, but it all comes down to you. If u have the temperment, patience, & experience to enjoy one & learn on one, despite their tendency to be high maintenance, u may enjoy one. Choose training over breeding & size every time, unless we're considering a 12hh pony. Be reasonable.
The best horse for u might not be a 17.2hh 3 year old off the track Thoroughbred, despite how gorgeous he may be.

you are still the right size for ponies so l would stick with them as horses are bigger, stronger and more expensive
you could get away with riding a 13.2hh/138cm but to last youo longer you may want look at something between 14-14.2hh
the breed does not matter. Just look for something that suits your riding style and do not just consider the breed.
