well depends on maker and when and well a whole lto of questiosn ur better to look it up yourshelf!

l wouldnt know in dollars but a friend spent in the region of 10k for hers to be built, if you doing it diy then you can download plans off the net and it will cost you about 5k. (uk money that is)

We built a 4 stall barn and it was 54'x14' l made my stalls 12'x14' and and l had a 6'x14' tack room/feed room on the end.. It cost us about 1200$ but thats becuase we did everything our selves. And my father in law does construction for a living so he got most of the supplys that people were throwing away and he built the whole thing in about 3 days.

a friend is building a 20x20 for $$40,000. and that is bare bones. check out Morton Buildings. they are built extremely well. we had a tornado(of course a low level tornando) pass over us and it was fine.

l built an 8 stall barn, with smaller stalls than yours, about 10 years ago. It is just a pole barn, but with a hay loft, water, electric, tack/feed room, shavings area, etc.

The basic structure cost me $25,000 - & l shopped around, believe me.

Then we finished the interior ourselves, building oak kick walls & adding stalls. We used stall fronts with sliding doors, adding the wood ourselves, & did the wiring, lighting, & circuit breaker box ourselves. We have only a dirt floor as concrete would have cost another $10,000.

There is a lot more than just the basic structure involved. Do not forget the costs of:

Leveling the site ($$$)
Getting water out there, & installing the frost free hydrant.
Wiring. ($$)
Flooring/mats
Stair case to hayloft (hayloft is a money saver as u can buy a year is worth of hay when it is cut, which is $$$$ cheaper).
Hot water tank if u plan a wash area
Interior walls (oak is best)
Stalls
Stall fronts/doors
Windows
The big sliding doors for the ends ($$$$)
A people door, preferably straight into ur tack/feed room for easy deliveries.

And so on.

Given the size of ur planned barn & ur location, l would want multiple frost free hydrants (hoses freeze) & electic to every stall for heated buckets (could not live without them!).

Building a proper stable is a costly undertaking, but well worth the effort.

Edit: My daughter is 3 stall barn, built earlier this year, was $16,000 for the basic pole barn (no loft) with water, electric & stalls built. but she got a real deal from a business associate at the track.

You need to ask several builders in your area for estimates. It is going to be different depending on your local economy and location.
