Ok for Christmas l plan on making my friend a name plaque for her one horse. It will be made of wood with the name carved into in, and decorated. What do you think of this?

l think tha'ts a great idea.
To me, the greatest thing l could receive is something someone made with their own hands - something unique that can not be bought. A person who makes something for me invests their time, thought and consideration - something few of us give to others or get from others anymore.
l would absolutely LOVE such a thing for those reasons.

That sounds like a very nice idea, but keep this in mind. Just because people like horses does not mean they want everything else horse related. l love horses, raise them, compete & am in way deeper than l will ever be able to get out of. But, every gift l ever receive has a horse picture, is in the shape of a horse or something. T-shirts, candle holders, cutting boards, ornaments, stuffed animals, bracelets. It does get old. l honestly would like a gift sometime that is not horse related at all. Think about how much horse stuff she has & likes before u give her another horse item.

l think its a good idea. l need to do something like that for mine seems no one can remember all their names, my nephew has the numbered like inmates, he does my feeding. Just now he said go give #3 this, heck whos number 3 LOL l think you have a great idea.
