l wanna replace the stirrups on a western saddle; what are good replacements.Does riding experience play a part here?Just for all around riding.

This will certainly be a personal choice on ur part. The first question would be what do u do when riding? Do u trail ride, or game, or team pen or barrel race et c etc.so many questions, in order to answer a question. Being a trail rider myself, l can give u my slant on the question. l would go with the wide competitive riding stirrups, not the fenders but the stirrups themselves. The wider the better, for the riders comfort. If u r only in the saddle for a few minutes as in the gaming it is not that important for comfort. But if u r in the saddle for hours on end, get the wide stirrups, u will be so comfortable with them even 8 hours later.

l really like ox bow stirrups.
